Remote Control crashing, Faulting application name: RHost.exe

Hi,
One of the Windows systems we need to control remotely has been having problems it Remote Control from the get go for months. Actually, it never worked once.
The program has been reinstalled numerous times and it’s currently running Endpoint Manager Communication Client. It appears online in remote control console and Windows app, you can initiate the file transfer session however the remote control never works. It seems to connect initially then a black window appears with alternating status messages: Connected, Disconnected.
Windows logs the error with RHost.exe crashing below
Any help is appreciated.
