Software inventory management

I think a software inventory management feature would be great. A couple key features woudl be:

1. Manually add or modify software and license keys to inventory not just populated by software scan of computers. This way ,if you have pre-ordered or have uninstalled software you can manage those as well

2. Scan computers for software and add/update them to the inventory.

3. Automatically get license keys if possible and add/update the inventory.

4. Show used/owned metric

Thank you for the suggestions. We checked and found your previous request for basically the same set of features. It currently shows on the product roadmap for implementation by Q2 2018. We appreciate your patience on the matter.

Rick C Although we have Global Inventory, we don't have the functionality that alphatecsd suggested. With the new Technology Assessment Platform, it would be great to be able to include a software inventory/license expiration section pulled from the information populated in a software inventory and licensing module.

Agreed, we are evaluating the product and there seems to be a serious reporting gap. Software inventory is one of them.
