Windows Defender Application Guard

When running Advanced Endpoint Protection, should we also be allowing Windows Defender Application Guard to be running as well? It uses Hyper-V to virtualize browser windows and I am wondering if this could create unnecessary overhead on the endpoint or if it’s okay for both to be running at the same time. I’m creating some scripts to toggle this Windows 10 built-in feature on and off and figured I would ask the question to see what others think.

Hi Fastassist,

Please check our back end team reply for the post

For Windows 8 and higher versions
For Install - We are registering the CCS AV component in Windows Security Center(WSC) and Windows itself manages registered AV components.
For Uninstall - We are unregistering CCS AV component in WCS and that’s it.

Kind Regards,
