Comodo Device Management 4.5 Released!

Hello @budda

Consumer version for endpoint protection is already available for free.
CIS (Comodo Internet Security) and CAV (Comodo Antivirus) are free Comodo products.

For enterprise customers, we offer CES (Comodo Endpoint Security) which supports centralized management.
CES is offered for a fee at the moment.

Currently there aren’t any short or mid term plans for changing this, but please feel free to contact our Sales Team at mdm@comodo.com in order to get hold of our latest offers for Comodo Device Manager.

First of all, there is no other security product that stops a brand new unknown malware that they don’t recognize from executing on the computer! Only Comodo does! In terms of protection, we offer the best security hands down. So what they have right now is unfortunately false sense of security and it is our duty to educate them. AV is dead…STAP is the way forward and Comodo has the best STAP product.
You can get discounts as a reseller if you wanted to.
If we give our protection (world’s best protection hands down) free, if we give comodo one free…how do we make money? You get paid for your time and services from that Vet. We too have kids to feed and bills to pay, you have to let us make some money sometime budda

i always seen the geekbuddy part of the software is a non starter, it’s adware to me. i can’t recommend the software as a solution. the software has been in the news lately and talked about in “Security Now” podcast for the past 2 weeks.

geekbuddy is a consumer product, it has nothing to do with MSPs or comodo one. Here is our response to the incident… https://blog.comodo.com/comodo-news/geekbuddy-vulnerability-makes-no-technical-sense/ … as you know software vulnerabilities are part and parcel of software development. the key is how one responds to a vulnerability, not that if it will have a vulnerability. Every software is going to suffer from vulnerability, whats important is how seriously the publisher deals with it.

Also, Comodo launched an adblocker which does affect Google’s revenue. Since that launch we are enjoying “more attention” from Google, which is a good thing for us to be honest… they are spending their hard earned dollars to analyse our products to make it safer for you! Win win for us all!

I have downloaded the MDM free version here https://dm.comodo.com/solutions/mobile-device-management/ and I will try it and update my suggestions and inputs.
