I have just installed the Patch Management agent on a few PC’s to test, but with limited success.
The Agents all show up fine in the web portal
The PC’s show that there are numerous 3rd party Custom apps waiting to be updated BUT if I choose to update them nothing ever happens.
More importantly the Agent dash board shows ZERO OS patches available, which I know is not true.
Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the ITSM patch management and the ‘Patch Management’ ?
For info I installed the agents over 4 hours ago.

Regarding your question about the difference between the ITSM Patch Management and the Patch Management, when it comes to functionality they are the same, the difference is that the Patch Management under ITSM is integrated with the ITSM portal and client software and the PM standalone is only dedicated to the PM functionality only.
