Knowledgebase email alerts or workflows


I’d like to first as if this is currently possible, or if not become a feature request. I’d like the ability to have email notifications sent anytime a new knowledgbase article is published. This would be great especially for clients and end users. An alert could go out on new articles that apply to them (how-to’s and other information). In addition, it would be great to have the ability to assign a workflow. Such as when an article is posted, if its X category it goes to X email address or users, and/or if its Y category it goes to a different one.

Thank you for the suggestion @eztech. We will forward it to the product development team for further deliberation. This falls under QOL improvements in the Service Desk and is worth looking at.
