Linux Kernel Patching supported?

Hello,

In regard to Patching on Linux, are Linux Kernels themselves supported under ComodoOne PatchManagement?
In one envirornment I see “Optional” Kernel Images available but the source is not from the Vendor themselves but from linux.org

Could this be clarified?
