Software (ERASER) remote deployment (.exe, .msi), registry updates, files update...

That’s strange.

Finally on my 2 computers of my users the registry script did not worked.

Regarding the registry setting,
please note that “S-1-5-21-12345678-12345678-12345678-1001” is a “fake” number I given you, as the “12345678-12345678-12345678-1001” is the SID of the user.

so,
as an admin user you should see the
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-12345678-12345678-12345678-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
Folder with, inside the
C:\Program Files\Eraser\Eraser.exe
entry.

Here are also the public urls of the instalation files

https://ecdn.heidi.ie/files/Eraser_x64.msi
https://ecdn.heidi.ie/files/Eraser_x86.msi

I found the issue,

in fact the best is to “write” the 2 registry keys with a wrong text like “-”, as on the computers the entry was not present and the issue was still there.

So, easy modification.

Can you modify this as well as the urls of the packages ?
thanks.

Hi rob I have saved your.json script for installing eraser and .net but I have no understanding how to run this script to install it. Can you please help thanks.

I think the solutions to your questions VP41 are in Comodo’s Help page https://help.comodo.com/topic-399-1-786-10996-View-Procedure-Results.html

Hello @VP41
To utilize the scripts, you first need to import the JSON files into Procedures (in your C1 account).
Please do check the following guide about Procedures: Import / Export / Clone Procedures

Once imported, you will now be able to run it on the selected device(s).
Here’s a guide on how to do it: Directly Apply Procedures to Devices
