Hello @andref ,
Yes, Patch Management is able to check for 3rd party software updates, you can check the list of supported apps here: https://forum.mspconsortium.com/forum/committees/technology/406-3rd-party-applications-to-be-patched
Hi @Dylan
Just double checking is Patch Management not going to fall away at some point i.e. ITSM to replace? I was under this impression and have been remove Patch Management from end points
Hello @Marveltec ,
Indeed, we are moving towards integrating all the patch management features into ITSM, at which point the module will probably be completely removed. However, until then, it will still be available for those who find it useful.
Hello @abgel
Unfortunately, we only provide support in English, so for future cases please try and using this language for a better communication.
Also, the reason why you cannot apply the rule is because you have no Information type selected.

Hello @abgel
We will contact you via email to assist you further with the issues that you have encountered. Thank you.
Not if the location does not accept the new rules created as I did not live in the US, my residence is in Ecuador
Gentlemen, my physical need to be windows, because I’m working on ubuntu 15.1 in a virtual box
Hello @abgel
We have sent you an email with a few instructions and we are waiting for your reply so we can continue with specific instructions.
If you are receiving any error messages, please send us a screenshot in a reply via email so that we can assist you. Depending on how you tried to configure the rule, the location might be an impediment.
Also, Ubuntu will work just fine.
Hello @abgel
For the Virtual machine, please take note of these system requirements:
MyDLP Server VM:
Just as a side question, I find patch management as one of the most important features that I use in C1, so I am hoping that patch management in ITSM will have very similar functionality?
If I have done these steps, you sent me on the information mydlp community is very good, copy a line of code and allows me to create rules, now I question is another step I have to activate to accept me the rules I I have created, I need to create a domain and some other line of code
At least same, but it would have more and with tightly integrated to other functions of endpoint management
Hello,
We have sent you via e-mail a few steps required to make a mail rule work in MyDLP, including the settings for the exchange server. If you want we can continue troubleshooting the issues by simply replying to that message.
as observed my physical is ubuntu, then in the screenshot I write the ip that gives me the wireless connection but excuse me but I do not understand this mynetworks line = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [:: 1] / 128 10.100.136.206/24, if that is how I’m writing or am failing in something
Hello,
The format listed in the instructions is regarding the network configuration. Since MyDLP uses Postfix to forward the e-mail your network will have to be included in the authorized networks list.
This can be done by adding the mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128 10.100.136.206/24 line in the configuration file of your Postfix settings found at /etc/postfix/main.cf
Please note that all you need to replace is the IP address at the end (10.100.136.206/24), assuming that the server IP is 10.100.136.206 and the subnet is 255.255.255.0. If that is not the case please adjust according to your network configuration.
What you see at the start of the line represents the local host for IPv4 and IPv6.
Since this is an isolated case, please reply to the e-mail we have sent, we can continue the troubleshooting there.
Hello,
In the screenshot you have posted you have created a file with the name maincf in the directory /etc/postfix
In most Linux distributions you need to choose with what to open a specific file. In your case, ‘nano 2.2.6’ does that, but since if it does not find a file with the name you gave in /etc/postfix it has simply created one.
What you need to do is close the one created, and edit the .cf file. Please type
pico -t /etc/postfix/main.cf
#replace the line with your network configuration, example: mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128 192.168.1.121/24
rm /etc/postfix/maincf - ONLY if you want to remove the empty created file (do not use it at all if you are not sure)
