Annual Pricing Increases

I am working on a new contract and the client would like to have a guarantee on price increases. The idea is if they do not add additional services then there is a cap on the annual price increase. What have others done in this situation? Is a 5% cap fair, etc?

5% is fair…inflation, cost of living, pay rises you give to employees, cost of goods increasing etc…

then how do you justify your 32% price increase?

we paid $10 per device per year. We even paid before it was mandatory.
