in the itsm console, i see an option to configure templates. my aim is to lock down certain applications. i see the options in hips and firewall. i tried testing with vlc media player. i selected the path to vlc and specified the file group as blocked. at the end, vlc is still running. i want to know what this option really does. does it lock down applications or does it do something else?

Could you please try to create the block rule from containment section? It should not allow an application to run at all so you don’t need FW or any additional config.
