We are currently utilizing Comodo One and are interested in potentially deploying the Client Security software (antivirus/HIPS/etc) across some of our client base. I want to confirm before we begin evaluating deploying on a permanent basis, is this only available for a 30 day period or is the welcome message referring to the advanced endpoint protection package?
Thank you and have a great day.
Please see our comment here regarding CCS 30 day period.
Let us know if you still have further questions. Thank you and have a great day as well!
@Anna_C , does this also apply to Android devices where only the Comodo Client app is installed to help in tracking/managing the device? I’m curious as there seems to be no way to turn off the Anti-Virus component that is being reported as enabled in ITSM.
Thanks for your time
That is an affirmative @Kristan.
The antivirus component is only enabled if the ‘Antivirus section’ is added to the associated Android profile. Same concept applies to other sections of any other Profile.
@Kristan The AV component is not actively running per se. You have to manually run the scan on the device.
