COMODO cWatch EDR v1.1.0 has been released!

The focus of this release was to improve the overall stability and performance of the agent as well as to kick off for the multi-tenancy support. A good practice of multi-tenancy support takes being flexible enough to allocate separate DB structures for customers especially in cases where customers are free to choose among different license types like in our case.

The biggest advantage of the separate DB allocation is not only that it gives MSPs to properly manage their customers but also it gives them ability to upgrade their licenses anytime. Also, performance is positively affected regarding this separation.

Please keep in mind that this release does not contain significant outputs in terms of user experience, however, the following sprints will utilize the backend work done for this release.

Release build for the endpoint agent and server are as follows:

  • Comodo cWatch EDR Server 1.1.0
  • Comodo cWatch Endpoint Agent 1.1.257.5
New Features

Hash Search UX Improvements

There have been a few changes in the hash search screen in terms of overall lay out. Now we put tabs below the hash search bar. User can now toggle between the tabs: “File, Execution S ummary, Download Summary, File Write Summary, Execution Trend”.

File tab gives attributes and visibility telemetry of a hash as well as the lateral movement display of that file.

Execution summary shows the machines that the file has been executed on.

Execution trend shows the frequency of the executions over time.

Can we use existing logins on this?
And is there a plan to link to C1?

Hi Robin,

We will give multi-tenancy over C1 so MSPs should get C1 accounts for multi-tenancy. This will be out will late May or June. Please stay tuned.
