Comodo ONE - IT Operating Platform February Release (02/25/2017)

Hi everyone,

We would like to inform you that we are going to have new releases over Comodo ONE on Saturday (02/25/2017) morning. Platform will be on maintenance mode for 2 hours early Saturday. We expect to have no service outage in general. If you observe any brief connectivity issues, please retry later in the day.

In addition to user interface and experience improvements, you can see the list of new features, improvements and bug fixes below.

Comodo One Portal
New Features

  • Welcome Page configuration on user settings menu has been introduced. It will be possible to set module overview pages as welcome.
  • Acronis Cloud Backup has been introduced for Enterprise accounts as well.
  • Partnership discounts on Reseller Portal are now available for direct purchases from C1 Portal Store process as well.
  • When users open a module in a new tab, module name will be visible as tab name.
Bug Fixes:
  • Registration wizard problem with passwords containing special characters was resolved.
  • Staff update problem with Acronis integration was fixed.
  • Reseller labels in role permissions were changed as Partner.
  • Forgot password link was corrected.
  • Setting default Comodo License Account was fixed.

New Features

Remote Access

  • Admins now can see much faster connection speed and have more reliable connection due to a whole brand new back-end technology and infrastructure. This infrastructure will enable us to continually improve remote access capabilities to make it world's best remote access very soon
Software Inventory
  • Admins now can see software inventory that are contained on devices by clicking "Installed Apps" tab under device view. The following information about the applications are displayed on user interface:
    • Software Name
    • Vendor
    • Version
    • Installation Date
  • Admins also can update software inventory list of the device by clicking “Update Software Inventory” button.
Device Inventory
  • The device list is now presented with a new tree based structure! Device list is placed together with expanded / collapsed device groups hierarchy on both device inventory and under protection device list. Admins now can select the root and see all devices or can select any group and see the devices only under that group.
  • Logs were displayed under separate tabs for Alerts, Procedures and Monitors under device details. We placed all of these execution logs under one main tab called “Logs“ and created separate sub-tabs for each.
  • Execution log for patch procedures are added inside device view.
  • Device Owner information is provided for Service Desk tickets that are created via tray icon and for monitoring notifications.
Service Desk New Features:
  • 2-Factor Authentication has been implemented in Service Desk direct login pages as well. (2-Factor Authentication can be enabled from C1 Portal.)
  • Email parameter is added to new tickets created by ITSM agents.
  • Start Date input parameter controls have been updated and now work with all formats.
  • “Start Date” and “End Date” part of Advanced Ticket Search query was fixed and it works properly now.
  • When the organization is deleted from C1 Portal, users with the organization could not be updated. It is resolved.

There seems to be no mention here of CCS being updated.

We only had technical improvements for CCS in this release, that is why we did not mention them. But we will make a major release for CCS in March, please wait for that :wink:

Have the improvements addressed all the propagation issues? ie VirusScope.

What technical improvements were made to CoCC? I’ve noticed this has created issues with our organization’sremote desktop tool and not allowing the Ctrl+Alt+Del to pass through to the remote machine.

I have added a couple of Windows 10 Home edition PC’s and the Software Inventory list is not being populated only on Windows 10 Pro edition PC’s is it populating.

Is this a bug or is it only available on Pro editions of the OS ?
