I sure would!!!
Also, what about file transfer, execute at client, and inventory features? All pertaining to remote desktop of course.
Excited about the update- despite being a new user, that is. I am also wondering about the potential chat function; can I be included on that e-mail chain?
Thank you!
Hello @8bitmap , @gpurdy897
Thank you very much for your feedback on Remote Control!
As @Jay and @nct mentioned, we surely have chat on our roadmap and it is on our short term plan.
File Transfer is coming soon - fall releases!!
And couple confirmation I need - should I understand Command Prompt orRunning Procedures through Remote Control from ‘execute at client’ and processes and services inventories for ‘inventory’ as you mentioned?

This! When will we get native Linux support for Remote Control… or maybe agentless HTML5 remote control?
Hi @catcomsys
Native Linux support for the CRC is still in the works. Based on the product roadmap, it is set on a short-term (3-6 months) implementation timeline.
While waiting for it though, you may want to check this ‘workaround’ provided by another user.
Hello @rawtech ,
Currently we are working on extending our reporting capabilities. We will be delivering different reports with branding abilities in the future. Our team will inform you about the roadmap and the timeline. Meanwhile I reached out to you from private message to discuss about your needs and requests.
We love to hear feedbacks and inputs that you will bring to us, so that we can extend our capabilities each and every day to serve you even better every time.

omg… the device list is chopped down, how do i display the full device list again? this new look having to click 1,2,3,4 to go to more devices is killing me
I mean the list of companies… Not just the show all list. I wanna see all my companies listed, not just 20 of them, and then having to guess which number a specific company is on. Before ALL the companies were listed, not just 20. Now I have to click the number or next until i find the company instead of just scrolling down… i mean it would be nice to at least have the option to show all companies.
Thank you for the follow-up response. We’ll send you a support ticket via email to assist you further on your concern.
Hello @BegumB , and thanks for the response.
You are correct about “execute at client”, but the inventory feature I mentioned is in relation to NetSupport. Their “inventory” feature gives you all the information, as far as Hardware, Software, Hot Fixes, Applications, Processes, and Services, about any particular remote workstation or server. Also, once these features are included, will Comodo start charging for it, or will it continue to be free?
Thank you for all you insight on this.
Thank you for the feedback @8bitmap ,
Let me provide insight on the cost query first –
Absolutely No - There isn’t and won’t be any charging for any of our IT Management products.
Now, going back to the features –
Good news – Processes Inventory is planned to be released in September and Services Inventory is planned for the Fall releases; the initial plan is to have these Remote Tools to be available through our Web portal.
Regarding hardware, software, hot fixes (I understand as OS or App patches) and application management; we have all these available today on the web portal - one.comodo.com under Device Summary.
Please find the attached screeenshot and here is more detailed information available for the inventory in case you’d like to take a look: https://help.comodo.com/topic-399-1-…e-Devices.html
Furthermore, Command Prompt is one of the top Mid Term items whereas Running Procedures thru Remote Control is on Long Term roadmap plan (you can consider to use web portal to run procedures today).
Thank you again for your feedback and suggestions to make Remote Control and Portal great. We are working very hard to achieve this with all our partners’ support!
Best,
-Begüm
