Custom MSI - The specified destination file does not exist!

Hi,

I am trying to test the function in which pushes out a custom MSI installation package. I am receiving the message “The specified destination file does not exist!”. Can someone confirm for me that the following URL formatting will work? I am able to use the same URL formatting from a web browser and the file downloads as expected.

Note: I am using a self-signed cert for testing

https://<domain>:9443/apps/customapp.msi

Thank you!

@SumoGoodLife ,

the link you enter in “MSI/Package URL *” should automatically download the MSI package if you enter it in any browser in the address bar.

For example:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5mokdpqik3b0l6j/CesmAgent_x64.msi?dl=0

If you paste this link in any browser in the address bar it will automatically download the MSI package. The link should be the same as for the format. It really doesn’t matter as long as it will respect the above condition.

@Jimmy,

Correct, the file does download when I enter it into a browser. The problem is that when I use the same link that worked in my browser with the manual MSI deployment tool, I receive the message “The specified destination file does not exist!”.
