Is there a way we can set a device offline alert? So if a server goes down or internet goes off the server we get an alert telling us its down?
Hi, this is already available in the monitoring module, create new and choose online /offline set a time period, for myself I have 5 mins as that covers short internet outages etc.
You can either add to an existing profile, or personally I combine this with other monitors into a profile that I then apply.
EG I have a standard SERVER profile that is applied that includes the offline monitor, I also get an alert at 10% and 5% that helps when drives blow out quickly.
I also just add the offline monitor to mission critical workstations as needed
I get an email / ticket when a device that has the monitor is down, much better than a client calling up!
