Error in Comodo Client Security and unable to uninstall

Good afternoon,
I haven’t received any email or request to reply on…
Can you please let me know what info you requested?
I posted my last findings in the post at 11-09-2017, 05:53 AM.

Good afternoon, @ailan
The support ticket was sent to the email address that is used in your forum account. Please do double-check your inbox (spam/trash?).

Hi Rick,
Thanks for letting me know. The mail was marked and saved in my Spam folder. Sorry for not noticing earlier.
I’m going to try this monday because now all the systems are offline.

Hi @ailan ,

We’re looking forward to positive results on Monday. Thank you.

Good news: I just installed the Comodo Client Security onto the client. I got an email with a link to an uninstall tool which was able to remove all the unwanted files, registries etc. After that I could push the install from the Portal.
Hope you can place the link and tool in a sticky post because this tool is an awesome tool. It will help a lot of others who’re reading this topic. (I don’t know if I’m allowed to post the info here openly.)
Thanks for the link.

Hello @ailan,

It’s good to hear that the resolution we sent worked.

We do have a Feature request ‘Ability to have “TOOLS” option in ITSM Dashboard’ where Removal tools will also be added on the “Tools” dropdown list for easy access and is currently shows on the road-map for implementation in 2018-Q2.

We have added you on the loop as well to keep you posted.
Thank you.

Goodmorning Anna,
Thanks. But I meant; can you, or may I, post the link with the solution for my problem here? It can help the other readers of this topic like ‘dittoit’ and ‘curatrix_pl’.

Hello @ailan,

Good day. yes, you may post the link here to provide additional guide of information to other former. Thank you

Top!
Here’s the info I received via email. This uninstall tool worked for me:
Download Link: https://app.ccloud.com/#share/252222&441114fad360f84dd3663a7377e4d02a88deb2ea

Instructions on how to use:
Run CES removal tool x86/x64
Acknowledge the Warning message.
Click Scan
Select the CIS/CES/CCS/CAVS installation folder.
If the path is properly detected, continue with ‘Yes, I’m sure, this is CIS/CES/CAVS directory’
If the path couldn’t be found or it is not correct, choose ‘No, I want to reselect CIS/CES/CAVS directory’
If the installation folder does not exist, continue with ‘Do not clear CIS/CES/CAVS directory’
Warning: Selecting a different folder will lead to deletion of entire content of that folder. Under any circumstances
do not select C:\ or C:\Windows
Click Cleanup
Select the items that need to be removed (can use CTRL or SHIFT for multiple select)

After you select the program to be removed, click on ‘Cleanup selected application’ and confirm your selection:
If there are no CIS/CES/CAVS entries please use “Skip” button.
Click Restart

If after the first reboot, CES leftovers are still detected, the tool will try to run again. Follow the process again. When
there are no leftovers found, the program will exit and continue to Windows desktop

@ailan ,

We are glad to hear that our suggestion worked for you. In addition, We are providing a pdf guide on this process so that MSPs can be guided accordingly as to what would transpire in the process. In my practice, I create a restore point first before running the tool.
