Feature Request - Global Software Inventory REPORT

Could we please have a button added to the Global Software Inventory to allow it to be downloaded as a CSV or something? It’s a great feature but being able to pull it into Excel or another spreadsheet program is really necessary when trying to go over large software inventories/sort them/etc.

Thanks!

Hi @indieserve, thank you very much for providing us your suggestion. Your input is important to us as it will help to improve the usefulness of C1 for the entire users’ community. We have submitted your request to our product team. They will review it and determine where it will fit best on the product road-map.

This report capability has been deployed a while ago. Can you please check if it fits your needs?
Kind regards.

Hi @Vadym,

The reporting feature is only available in the Global Software Inventory, but it’s not available in the Installed Devices List pages, so we have no direct way to get a list of the devices that have a given software installed, which is sometimes necessary for licensing audit purposes. We have been getting the information by copying and pasting, but that was not practical, as it implied a lot of manual work.

Also, the Installed Devices List pages only show those devices having a specific version, it would be great to have all the versions of a given software in a single view that we could export, so we could see on a single list all the devices that we need to update, etc. By the way, another issue on the Installed Devices List pages is that we cannot sort nor filter the endpoints there, and also there is no way to run a script on selected computers, the only available action is “Uninstall Software” and it tends to fail.

I think there is a lot of room for improvement on the Global Software Inventory with just a few changes in the interface.

Have a nice day!

P.S. Hey, @RT-AMS-ITarian, here are some ideas
