I would like to see some more detailed reports in ITSM. The example I am looking at is I would like to run reports on a particular customer with the computers they have being monitored by me. I would also like to have a more through hardware report that can provide computers, hardware info, and software loaded. Either do it is a report or let me print it off from the device. I would like it to be able to hand to or email to a client that wants to know what software is loaded where. I could do this with third party apps by remote controlling into each machine and running a separate report but would consider that inefficient when the same data is already in ITSM but I can’t just put it into a report.
Hardware Inventory Report Q3 2018? Is that a typo? To not have these VERY basic reporting features is really quite unbelievable.
The possibility to make your own reports would be great. Choose what info from the database you want to export to an excel, like computer name, Windows version… Well everything you have som data on, just add that to a column in an Excel report would be nice.

We have been working hard for a while over a script possibility on your feature requests to have single ITSM report over a group of devices or company devices. Good news is that we have succeeded as well 
Please refer below script procedure to get delivered single ITSM software inventory report to your email address over a group of devices and follow the instructions as specified.But in this case, you just need to specify head computer name among the group of devices to consolidate the report from rest of the devices.
We have been working on hardware inventory as well. It will be delivered once completed.
You can run script procedure over company devices. Refer attached screenshot.

Come on… we need “real” reports… Like Desktop Central have. They have reports for almost everything and you can filter them and create custom reports.

How about implementation of a report designer… This would allow us to write queries that pull data via script / procedure (such as Hardware Inventory), then use the dataset from the procedure to design our own script. That shouldn’t be too difficult, espeicially if you use a designer similar to JasperSoft Report studio which is open source!

I agree with this. There are three huge barriers to adoption for us. First is reliability. We can’t have the system go down. Second is reporting. We simply need to be able to generate reports. I’ve been asking for this for a long time. Third is usability. We have gotten around this but it is costing us time and is causing problems with the employees because they do not like the system UI vs. maxfocus. It may seem like reporting is a nice to have but it is actually crucial and we can’t live without it.

There are windows 7 and 10. But, to obtain a more complete report, we started to deploy a solution: we use aida64 to send a report vía ftp. Now, we have to write the python code, itsm side, to download a self-extract rar to a temporary folder and execute it. Could you bring us some help with that? The .exe will be hosted at a domain or alternative vía ftp. The code should download the file and execute the .exe

Scripts are not the answer for reports.
The system should have drop downs for customising that information you want on certain reports etc and just be able to run them then and there. And export to PDF using your logo etc
