Feature Request - Windows Policy Management

This may be getting into a different level of administration but I know it’s possible. There is a need for Windows Policy Management Profile Section with options like:

  1. Screen saver Password Lock with timeout
  2. Admin account rename
  3. Guest account rename
  4. Network settings: DNS, GW
  5. Lockout after x attempts
  6. Lockout duration settings
  7. Password length requirements

This is especially helpful for those clients who require PCI/HIPAA compliance and do not have an Active Directory to attach to. I am currently maintaining these settings with procedure that run periodically to set registry values, makes more sense to have them as a static setting option.

I realize probably not the the answer you’re looking for, but in the interim, couldn’t you create a procedure and set it to run on the systems that needs these settings?
