Firewall ports for RMM Administration Console

Hi,

​Can you please let me know what TCP/UDP ports the RMM Administration Console uses to connect back to your hosts. I have been on a number of sites where I have http/https access and the RMM Administration Console will not connect. I would have assumed you would have just used HTTPS to make it easy for all, but it appears that you do not.

RMM Administration Console uses 443 and 8080. Please make sure that those ports are not blocked.

As 8080 is predominantly used as a port to connect to a Proxy server in most environments, the chances of this being open are remote. Are there any plans to make RMM Admin Console solely use 443 as the transport, being that 443 is almost universally accessible from corporate networks?

Our plan is to move everything in Comodo One (ITSM dashboard), so in the near future you will be able to do everything from ITSM (apply policies, run procedures, takeover computers directly from this console). However, until then we will forward this request and we will get back to you as soon as we have a resolution on this.

Regarding your feature request (RMM Admin Console should use only port 443), at the end of Q3 all the features that are currently provided by the RMM Admin console will be moved to cloud (ITSM dashboard), therefore the RMM console will be deprecated. In ITSM all the communication is taking place through port 443.
