I have the health disk monitor set up on almost all the systems I have installed the service on, I have about a 30%-40% showing as broken, but one is a brand new computer. This made me wonder if things were off, so I manually tested some of the systems, and I can not find any HD issues with the ones I tested. SMART comes back clean, chkdsk finds nothing, event viewer is clean?? I am starting to implement this, and need to be able to trust the output of the monitors as I need it to be reliable on around 150 workstations.
