Why the hell dont you just provide the option to disable the CCS firewall and use the Windows firewall instead without the software reporting to the endpoint that their device is insecure?
The vast majority of problems are caused by the firewall. Not only is it generating a massive amount of extra workload and stress for your users, it’s creating a very poor image of your whole suite.
Totally agree and hope this action is done ASAP.
Please remove the firewall and add windows firewall management features to Endpoint Manager like your competitors are doing.
CCS is a rock until you enable firewall, I have had issues ever since V10 release.
Thank you for bringing this particular suggestion to our attention. We have forwarded the information to our development team and we will get back
to you the soonest possible we can.
For those of us having connectivity issues and are reinstalling, would it be best to use the removal tool, then download the bulk installation package? I have deleted the Client Security from the endpoint manager on a couple of systems only to have it unenroll these devices, unless that is normal.
If you’re going to use the bulk installation package on those affected endpoint, we need to uninstall the Client - Communication also and remove the affected device in the Device List after you removed the Client - Security using the removal tool.
You can uninstall the Client - Security only using the removal tool then reinstall the Client - Security thru “Install Additional Comodo Packages”. Refer to the help guide below.
Hi
Have any update of firewall issue,
we are disable firewall feature more then 3 weeks,
and I don’t see any update in next release on June 8.
or we can ask comodo give us downgrade script that we could downgrade CCS version…
The reason for no mention of this issue in release notes is that the testing still goes on it in order to provide the most stable and proper fix to you. The release note usually gets updated with bug fixes in the last week prior to the release date.
We’re having intermittent network disconnects with CCS 11.2.2.7373 this is interrupting workflow and often requires reboots or nic driver reinstalls, help?
We are saddened to hear of your report. We have created a support ticket to assist you further in investigating the issue. Please check your forum registered email at your convenience
Disable firewall in the profile you are using, almost guarantee this is same issue everyone is facing and we all have this disabled in the CCS profiles we have deployed.
Previously, we managed to download the latest packages by just creating a generic hybrid deployment .exe package and then unpacking it using 7-zip to get ‘ces_x86.msi’, ‘ces_x64.msi’ and ‘itsm.msi’ from there, but now we have modified the Default Client Version for both Communication Client and Comodo Client - Security in Portal Set-Up -> Client Settings, so this workaround is no longer valid for us.
So the question is still open: Where can we download the latest msi packages, CCS 11.3.0.7495 and CCC 6.28.26684.19061?
