Is Comodo Remote Control suffering an outage at the moment?

Think that was a whole week without any CRC outage. Hopefully this will continue.

Platform stability seems to have improved from an ITSM (anti virus) perspective for sure, now let’s see what you can fix in the October release.

Rest assured that improvement and stability are the two main goals that we are focusing on moving forward so we could give our partners and their clients the experience that’s beyond their expectation.

@melih Praise where praise is due, CRC has been working well today, with the exception of needing to make the initial connection more than once occasionally. Speed is good, too. By comparison, the paid for Solarwinds MSP Anywhere we use has been disconnecting regularly, no reply from their phones or email, just live chat.

@Parker can you provide a white list of ports and files for Comodo Remote Control? Currently when i launch the application im greeted with a white box. Tried on a couple of different machines all the the same result. Im thinking that its our endpoint sec thats causing the issue but cant confirm as there is nothing in the logs to indicate that its stopping it.

The new CRC simply uses the http (80) and https (443) ports to communicate with the other device.

Thanks for confirming, nothing is being blocked by our endpoint security? What can be done to troubleshoot the issue? As mentioned ive tried this on several machines now all with the same results. Its also been tested on a personal machine which has no corporate configuration, vanilla windows 10 pro with defender running. Same white screen.

Is this related with the post you made about a multi-monitor setup and the new CRC?

Yes is it, i see that a ticket has been raised and ive sent the log data in. Support have confirmed that it appears to be a bug.
