@ailan this could be your class as an Xcitium customer or maybe your account was stuck during migration.

As long as you have raised with support they will sort.

I hope because the response I just received after a few hours doesnā€™t look like they know what Iā€™m talking about.

I responded again that Iā€™m not having those license options and attached the billing guide. Hope itā€™s clearer now.

On US server, and Itarian Platform, @stefanoradam yours shows xcitium platform logo

At first, my showed my company logo.
After I removed my logo, it also shows Xcitium platform logo now.

Iā€™ve always used EU servers for the platform (Iā€™m in Italy)
Today still no ā€œnewā€ profiles panel ā€¦

Dear all,

If your portal has the Xcitium logo in the top corner your classed as an Xcitium customer not an ITarian customer.

Xcitium does not have the same profile settings that ITarian does, and they are more security focused than device management.

Over time all people using the old C1 portal which is Xcitium will be pushed to the new Dragon portal which looks and feels different,but gives most of the same features.

Pricing for Xcitium have been released I believe and they have same / similar package but broken down differently.

Unfortunately I cannot give details on Xcitium pricing on here and that will need to be discussed with your account manager or reseller.

If so, why did I get the email regarding the billing change?

Donā€™t get me wrong. Iā€™m fine how it is now for me.
Iā€™m more for security than for device managing.

I started with C1 and thought everyone was migrated to Itarian. Now I find out Iā€™m with the fairly new introduced Xcitium which is the old platformā€¦

At the moment there is not much difference between each platform, but over time there will be.

Xcitium is heading down a security first manager with some RMM attached where ITarian is going down the full PSA, RMM and MDM route.

Pricing for Xcitium I cannot comment on unfortunately.

Aside from my known problems with English ā€¦
It seems incredible to me that I donā€™t know which platform Iā€™m paying 380 endpoints for ā€¦
my fault for sure.
On the emails for the licenses, however, they report Itarian forum as THE forum ā€¦

I understand you cannot comment on the prices regarding Xcitium.

But you do can tell if we (from the Xcitium platform) still can use all the options like we already did now without license or billing consequences.

The mechanism behind that should already be known.

I donā€™t want to receive unforeseen billings because I canā€™t change profiles or because nobody from Itarian/ Xcitium can tell us what will change.

So my question is still: I wonā€™t get any invoices regarding licenses for the Xcitium platform because we canā€™t change anything? I can use it like always and donā€™t have to change anything?

This email is very confusing for sure.

If your logo in the top left is Comodo or Xcitium then your classed as an Xcitium customer and ITarian changes will not effect you.

If your portal is Xcitium the ITarian changes will not effect you, but please be aware that I think Xcitium have change stuff too, but Iā€™m not up on that for obvious reasons.

So it would seem I am not the only confused person on this platform. The only part of your product that I use is the ā€œremote control by Italianā€, I have no interest in anything else and so as I read it shouldnā€™t be charged.

However when I log in today it is asking for payment details, if this is because I should have made some sort of change in the portal it should have been made clear in the email I received as it wasnā€™t at all clear.

I did contact you through your ā€œcontact usā€ section but got no reply

Sorry you have not been contacted yet from your contact form request. Iā€™m not sure who exactly get these but often they are forwarded to me in a ticket to deal with.

In regards to the ITarian PSA platform, a quick one sentence about us is
ā€œ100% Free Hosted Ticketing Platform and 100% Hosted Remote Desktop Platform with ITarian PSAā€

To achieve the above we are giving all companies an ā€œITarian Basicā€ license; this is a free license that gives you access to the following: -

  • Basic PSA
  • Service Desk [SD] (this is the ticketing platform)
  • Remote Desktop [RD]
  • Remote Desktop Mobile [RDM] (currently only on Android)

Remote Desktop [RD] is the new name for Remote Control and should be rolled out as a name changed Q1 2023.

Inside ITarian there is a profile creation tool, to make sure you have a free setup using the ITarian Basic only license please create a new profile enabling only features from the free section. Once this is done please apply this to your devices to make sure your not charged.

We are aware that there is no default free profile and looking to resolve this asap meaning you do not need to create one, until then please create a profile enabling the free marked items only.

Just a quick post.
Looks like some portal changes are in progress, seeing a few different pages or layouts.
Anything Iā€™ve missed in the last few days?

Nothing that has been missed, but something that might be seen is a possible change in portal from ITarian to Xcitium and the other way around.

Something that has not been announced and I personally have only just found out is that parts of the separation of ITarian and Xcitium are still ongoing.

Due to this a change on the backend has been made which might have pushed people to one side or the other.

If your portal has been changed and you wish it to be put back please raise a support ticket with support@itarian.com and this will be actioned asap
