I can see the new changes and making changes to my profiles but the new XCS and agent not yet available for me to download.Still shows i have the latest agend and XCS.
The licence pages are not that easy to read.
I got a pop up at first login wanting credit card info, with the faintest of a small skip button.
The portal suggests that Iām overusing all endpoints as per new subscription model.
Uploading: image.png(1)ā¦
But the allocations screen shows up different as unlicensed devices
I see the profiles in usage changed with the new symbols and so forth, in my case ALL devices are paid with XCS/CSS, ALL enrolled or using āRMMā and then only about 75% have āXCSā provisioned.
I still donāt have any updated pricing to be able to work out if I need to reduce the unused XCS licences to simply match the actual usage, and then āupgradeā ALL endpoints with a new RMM licence - new cost ???
(I get my licenceās via reseller Robin at StobeIT, Iām aware he is under pressure and has had family issues, so not directing any of these comments directly to him, just in general for ITarian)
Once pricing is established then an informed decision can be made, options to stay, move or reduce and perhaps cull endpoints a bit more often and harshly for unproductive or old systems, Iāve not been doing as quickly recently.
Yes there are many options for RMM products, some are very expensive but fully functional and you get what you pay for, others are more economical even per tech/unlimited but have some shortcomings that also need some improvements, it really depends on what works for the business needs.
EDIT, just noticed the pdf from post #69, Itarian Billing Model Change - 2022 - #69 by RT-AMS-ITarian
Why was this not sent out to our registered email addresses?
Is this the only guide so far posted, what about those who donāt check the forums?
Major changes, in particular pricing, as well as structure, need to be communicated much better.
I believe that this has been mentioned many times beforeā¦

Hi @RT-AMS-ITarian,
Note:
For me, the profiles page is still the same like in old set-up. I already emailed āsupport@itarian.comā yesterday but no change or reaction.
When you select a profile to make changes do you not get this screen??
Mine changed on 22nd. (Europe)
Hi @elzorillo ,
No, I get the old screen:
(now 23rd. Europe)
But Itarian support is looking into it.
Thanks.
Check emails
@ailan this could be your class as an Xcitium customer or maybe your account was stuck during migration.
As long as you have raised with support they will sort.
Regards
Robin
I hope because the response I just received after a few hours doesnāt look like they know what Iām talking about.
I responded again that Iām not having those license options and attached the billing guide. Hope itās clearer now.
At first, my showed my company logo.
After I removed my logo, it also shows Xcitium platform logo now.
Iāve always used EU servers for the platform (Iām in Italy)
Today still no ānewā profiles panel ā¦
Dear all,
If your portal has the Xcitium logo in the top corner your classed as an Xcitium customer not an ITarian customer.
Xcitium does not have the same profile settings that ITarian does, and they are more security focused than device management.
Over time all people using the old C1 portal which is Xcitium will be pushed to the new Dragon portal which looks and feels different, but gives most of the same features.
Pricing for Xcitium have been released I believe and they have same / similar package but broken down differently.
Unfortunately I cannot give details on Xcitium pricing on here and that will need to be discussed with your account manager or reseller.

Robin
Hi Robin,
Thanks for looking into this.
What does that means for me?
Iām not going to be extra billed and nothing will change for me?
I also donāt have to change anything in my profiles because Iām classed as Xcitium customer?
If so, why did I get the email regarding the billing change?
Donāt get me wrong. Iām fine how it is now for me.
Iām more for security than for device managing.
I started with C1 and thought everyone was migrated to Itarian. Now I find out Iām with the fairly new introduced Xcitium which is the old platformā¦
Very confusingā¦
Hi @ailan
At the moment there is not much difference between each platform, but over time there will be.
Xcitium is heading down a security first manager with some RMM attached where ITarian is going down the full PSA, RMM and MDM route.
Pricing for Xcitium I cannot comment on unfortunately.

Robin
Aside from my known problems with English ā¦
It seems incredible to me that I donāt know which platform Iām paying 380 endpoints for ā¦
my fault for sure.
On the emails for the licenses, however, they report Itarian forum as THE forum ā¦
well, I understand less than before!
Hi Robin,
I understand you cannot comment on the prices regarding Xcitium.
But you do can tell if we (from the Xcitium platform) still can use all the options like we already did now without license or billing consequences.
The mechanism behind that should already be known.
I donāt want to receive unforeseen billings because I canāt change profiles or because nobody from Itarian/ Xcitium can tell us what will change.
So my question is still: I wonāt get any invoices regarding licenses for the Xcitium platform because we canāt change anything? I can use it like always and donāt have to change anything?
This email is very confusing for sure.
If your logo in the top left is Comodo or Xcitium then your classed as an Xcitium customer and ITarian changes will not effect you.
Hi @ailan
If your portal is Xcitium the ITarian changes will not effect you, but please be aware that I think Xcitium have change stuff too, but Iām not up on that for obvious reasons.
Regards
Robin
