Linux RMM

Is there an ETA of when linux endpoints will be able to have RMM available for remote control?

Hello @Schmarvin
Tentatively, the ability to remote into a Linux machine is set this Q4 2017.

Ah, thanks. I couldn’t remember. This is probably the only platform that will support remote control to some linux. By the way, is there a milestone chart or goal outline for Comodo One anywhere?

Thank you for this great suggestion and we appreciate it very much. We will recommend this to management.

I suggest that the focus first be on providing remote SSH functionality and then script execution as a result.

@curatrix_pl ,

You are correct. All key principles are tackled and will be tested numerous times before our Product Development team approves the feature before it rolls-out.

Waiting for this. Will make life easier… :slight_smile:

It would also be extremely useful if the agent can be supported under ESXi installations to enable SSH commands to be executed without having to enable SSH access to the hosts.

Hello @curatrix_pl ,

We don’t have the information available off-hand but we’ll get them for you and provide you with an update as soon as we can.
Rest assured that once this will be available we will push more functionalities for this feature.

Kind Regards,
Jay

Will the ability to send files to the end points available to the different platforms? Remote access and file management at the end point would be an added benefit.

Adding the file transfer functionality in the new Comodo Remote Control (CRC) will not be just for a specific OS platform. The Product Development team will definitely implement it for all supported OS platforms (eventually).
