You can hide patches if you are not using them. You can also schedule them depending on how frequently need them. When I do a new client, I have the RMM look once a week for an patches that need to be installed. Typically on a weekly basis is good enough and I tell my clients if they get a pop up on their computer stating there being an update, to just ignore. Since I check weekly, a new one might pop up between checks, and it will be done on the next scheduled check date. I won’t do it more often than weekly unless there is cause to update something for important security reasons.
