Open source monitoring sensors :)

ITSM-agent have procedures functionality. Procedures can analyze PC’s info and text-files content. So you can provide unlimited monitoring functionality.

There are many tools which can get all necessary information from PC and put it to text-files, which can be explored by ITSM-agent procedures. So think about this - make monitoring sensors at ITSM module as procedure-based. Kannan can implement any sensor for few minutes.

If procedures functionality already can create SD tickets (using API) - with procedures we can implement absolutely any monitoring sensors today. We will can implement any typical monitoring sensor and any custom “sensor” - hardware & logical.

One little change with sensors - huge jump for whole C1

Thank you @Sergey , it is on the roadmap with a slightly different solution definition.

We will provide custom monitoring option where you can check any value with a procedure kind of code and would be able to define under what conditions monitors would be on and off.

Your solution make possible to analyze text files (log out of third party tools)?

Hello @Sergey

We have forwarded your Feature Request to the team. We will advise as soon as we can.

Little offtopic: Button “Add link” at new post window at forum dont work.

This tool can get EVERYTHING!!! from workstation and can create structured text log-file. Using this tool and ITSM proc-parser possible make monitor of everything

Hello @Sergey ,

RMM Administration Console already provides these tools (e.g. Process Explorer, Active Connections and so on). They will be part of ITSM once the RMM will be completely integrated in ITSM, but I will forward your suggestion to the development team.

Thank you for your feedback!

Hello @Sergey ,

We are pleased to inform you that the implementation of the feature that you have requested (Ability to read specific text files (logs) in ITSM) is scheduled to be included in our upcoming release due on Q2 2017.

We appreciate your patience and your understanding in this matter!

Not only read, but analyse and react.
