I’m running a hyper v machine running virtual dekstops and remote apps on server 2012 and 2008 for the app’s. I noticed my clients couldn’t connect this morning and had to disable the firewall on ALL machines. i noticed you can add ports to allow through the firewall however the connection still refuses. Is there a way we can add these in by default so it actually works. I emailed support 4 hours ago and still no response.
Hi @monster-it . Please confirm if this is the same concern that you had emailed us about at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
Correct me if im wrong but the SERVER version of CCS does NOT install the Firewall??
Hi @dittoit, you are correct. By default, firewall module is not enabled on server operation systems.
yeah but its a windows 7 virtual desktop.
We appreciate for clarifying, we will check the root cause of this on the scheduled call and have it resolved. Thank you
@monster-it did you add the ports in the firewall in the policy ? They can sometimes take a time to push out changes. I’m hoping the next update will improve the speed at changes are pushed out.
Comodo. I think it would be nice to have a list of the common ports used and to toggle on/off this would make life much easier and a little more user friendly
Hi @monster-it @dittoit
It is available in the online Comodo Help Guide under Firewall Settings for ITSM.
