Hello everyone!

We’re excited to inform you that the latest version of ITarian will go live in the third week of January 2022.

The release schedule will be as follows:
US Region -> The release will start on 19th January 2022 Wednesday at 1 AM EDT
EU Region and agents -> The release will start on 20th January 2022 Thursday at 5 AM GMT

The release is expected to take 30 minutes to deploy, during that time the platform will be under maintenance mode, where you may observe minor glitches. If you observe any issues, please feel free to share them with us.

New Features

  • MacOS support for M1 chipset
From now on, the Communication Client agent for macOS is able to run on the M1 chipset with all capabilities.

Bug-Fixes

  • Fixed the issue that "Comodo Client Security Report Issues" would include device duplicates if the device is a member of several device groups.
  • The UI issue of clipping the device name information in “Execution Log of Procedures” has been fixed.
Security

New Features

  • External Device Control for MacOS
With this feature, all matched external devices connected to the Mac can be blocked or allowed by partial name / ID.

Remote Control

New Features

  • MacOS support for M1 chipset
From now on, the Remote Control agent for macOS is able to run on the M1 chipset with all capabilities. For Remote Control to run properly on the M1 chipset, the Apple Rosetta application must be installed once.

Comodo Client Security

From now on, the Comodo Client Security agent for macOS is able to run on the M1 chipset with all capabilities.

Bug-Fixes

  • Fixed the issue of the 'View Logs' section crashing when clicking 'Configuration Changes' in the View Logs Section on MacOS 11.5/12.1

We would like to inform you that US Region deployment has been started on time and completed for the US cloud portal. Post-deployment testing is in progress.

Please note that December Release for the EU region cloud portal and the agents will start on 20th January 2022 Thursday at 5 AM GMT.

We will also inform you when post-deployment tests are completed.
