We have a Service Desk user that has been having issues to connect in the Remote Control application. She has been able to log in without any issues through the Comodo One portal, but she was getting a “Wrong Password” error when connecting through the Remote Control application.
The issue seems to be that she was using a 29-character long password. After resetting her password to a more reasonable 9-character long password, she has been able to log in without issues in the Remote Control application.
So, for us, the issue is solved… but the Development Team might be interested in checking if there might be a bug in the way that the Remote Control application handle the password so it fails when a user sets a way-too-long password. We have found the issue in Remote Control version 6.37.38738.20070.
