Clear Teams cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

please revert, thank you very much

Hi @doreenmolly

Can I ask if you are you a Comodo / Xcitium customer or an ITarian customer so I can direct this to the right place.

Good idea, please could I request too as an Itarian client.

hi yes i am a comodo customer

hi team are you working on my script?

Hi @doreenmolly
I have spoken to the script team and they are going to start work on this for you.

As an ITarian customer feature requests and scripts should be made via https://feedback.itarian.com/, but as an Xcitium (Comodo) customer all requests should either be via their support or forum on https://forum.xcitium.com/

As we are a sister company of Xcitium and we provide their RMM and Scripting engine I have asked this to be looked at for you.

Hi @doreenmolly ,

Please try this script as Logged in User and provide your feedback

hi Prem, i receive this error, please assist

Hi @doreenmolly ,

We have asked our script developer to investigate the issue and will provide you an update.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

Hi @doreenmolly ,

Our script developer wanted to confirm whether the script has been Run as Logged in User as this provided script works only for the current user, so if the current user doesn’t have Microsoft Teams installed, it will tell you to install the Microsoft Teams.

A new script has been prepared to delete the Microsoft Teams cache for all the users.

Please import the latest JSON file and run it as “Local System User
20230613_1_exported_procedures.json (3.0 KB)

The above script will check for Microsoft Teams for all the users and will wipe out the Microsoft Teams cache if it is found. you can check the details in the script execution log.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

hi Prem, this is the result

- BTW we are using microsoft teams for business

Hi @doreenmolly,

We have shared your error output with the script developer.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

hi there, please advise what is the status of my request?

Are we sure the output is not saying it’s successful? When I run this I cannot find any process related to Teams still running in Task Manager.

Hi @doreenmolly ,

Please delete the previous script and import this JSON file and run the script as **LOCALSYSTEM USER -
[new] [new] script to quit Microsoft teams and clear MS Teams client cache.json (2.8 KB)

Please check the details in the script execution log and also share the details of the script execution log if there is any error occurred. it should clear the cache of the MS Teams if it is installed.

Kind Regards,
PremJK
