SNMP devices?

Not sure where to start this thread but does Comodo One have any way of checking on printers, get information from switches and / or routers? If not then move this to a feature request please.

Hi @brt_kraig I have also requested this and the development team have this on their roadmap. More detailed information can be sought from @Ilker or perhaps the support team.

Hello @brt_kraig ,

SNMP management is on the roadmap and it will become available in one of the next releases of Comodo One.

Anyway, I will forward your request too so you will be notified as soon as this feature will become available.

Thank you for your patience!

Hello @brt_kraig and @mhberglund ,

This feature is indeed on the roadmap and has been scheduled for Q1\Q2 2016.

Hello,

About the feature that you have requested (Monitoring SNMP devices with RMM), we have been informed that it was pushed to Q2 2017.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

I am currently testing Comodo One and can not see anything in relation to SNMP monitoring. Can you tell me if this has infact been implemented. I appears to have been promised since 2016 and we are now in 2018.

Not been implemented as yet… it was listed on the advertising as a function, but that he been updated to coming soon… kind of…

It is in progress. Device discovery would be available on Q1 and we will continue to improve it with various device monitors.

Very pleased to read this.

This is interesting https://us.itarian.com/itsm-auto-discovery-and-deployment.php?frmReg=EU

It mentions all sort of things like: [h=3]Network device discovery, mapping, and monitoring
Automatically discover network devices; monitor device fault, availability, and performance; and map network topology with SNMP monitoring.[/h] Are these features truly available at this point? I cannot seem to find any documentation on them…

Hi @cellis ,

Thank you for your interest in the ITarian Platform.

I’ve checked the link you included in your post and it talks about the Auto Discovery and Deployment Tool. Upon checking the description of that tool in the said link, the first/upper part is accurate, but the latter part needs to be corrected as it seem to describe the SNMP feature (though it hasn’t been finalized yet) that we plan to implement in platform in the future. I will escalate this to the designated team so we may correct the content of that link, and we thank you for bringing this to our attention.

As for the Auto Discovery and Deployment Tool, it allows admins to remotely deploy applications to multiple endpoints via Active Directory, Workgroup or IP address/IP range/host name. It is primarily designed to allow bulk deployment of the Endpoint Manager agent, but it can be also be used to install any application remotely. You can find the documentation for this tool in the link below:

https://community.itarian.com/help/t…ment-Tool.html

I hope this helps and feel free to let us know if you need anything else.

It is good to see you are going to update the marketing.

I know @ayhanepik and the guys have been working on a set of functions for Endpoint Manager and I believe a dedicated client for this as well

This is an important piece of missing puzzle I’m looking forward to using.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for pointing this out @StrobeTech . This is Ayhan, product manager of Endpoint Manager. We are currently working on having network discovery inside ITarian platform. We will be able to release it in early 2019 hopefully. Then, we will be able to add SNMP monitoring functionalities.

I sent you all a private message to have a meeting for discussing what we have and see what you are thinking about it.

Your inputs are valuable for us.

Thank you for your patience.
Regards
Ayhan
