Suggestion: Build an official Comodo & ITarian script repository at GitHub

Hi Support,

I’ve been thinking that it could be nice to have an official Comodo & ITarian script repository at GitHub or another similar platform.

Sometimes I modify the scripts I download from either https://scripts.comodo.com/ or https://scripts.itarian.com/ to fit our specific needs, but some modifications may be helpful for someone else, so it would be great to have a way to contribute those modifications so maybe other users can take advantage of them.

What do you think? Wouldn’t it be nice?

Hello @DevoteamEndpointSecu

Thank you for bringing this particular suggestion to our attention. We have forwarded the information to our development team and we will get back to you the soonest possible we can.

With Best regards,

Never used GitHub before. How would that differ from the current script page?

Hi @Fred ,

The main advantage is that anyone can suggest modifications for the code of the scripts directly through the platform. Of course, those code modifications must be approved by the Comodo staff. Also, you can easily check which parts of the code have been modified, by whom, and when, track bugs, etc. You can se more about Git in the Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Git
