Users don't get emails when ticket is closed

Yes…just as described above…it’s only the service desk staff that get a mail saying a ticket has been closed. Is there any setting to enable users to get automatic mails once a ticket is closed?

You can set to get an alert when a ticket is closed (check the following guide) but the system does not automatically generate an email directed at your end users when closing tickets. You are supposed to inform the end users that you will be closing the ticket once you get confirmation that the raised issue has been resolved already.
