Using google ldap as user backend.

Hi Community,

seems google require authentication via certificate but I do not find anything on iTarian side. Anyone had access with google as ldap user backed?

Hi @Megachip,

Sorry for the delayed response. We checked and found that unfortunately, it’s not possible to Google LDAP with ITarian.
A feature request is already created and the development team is working on it.

The best approach is to enable OpenID based integration and then it will work with all the products. Its pretty much the standard nowadays.

I’ll guess OpenID is only an auth provider. Not sure, if you can sync groups and memberships with it…
