Way to disable MAC OS X Menu Bar Icons?

Wondering if there is a way to make a system template that hides the menubar icon for OS X clients

We have already forwarded your concern to the Product Development team to make available in Mac Profiles the UI Settings control that are already available in Windows-based Profiles.

Your observation about the reappearing icon is working as designed as long as the changes made on the client-side is not properly copied over to the associated (Mac) Profile. Without the UI Settings, there is no current method to permanently disable the display of the CCC and CCS icons in the menubar.
