One quick question regarding the python script to stop the windows update service (wuauserv). I have it running on a device right now.
Within ITSM/Procedures I also have this script running (Critical patch updates) on a weekly basis - will I still be able to install my critical updates even though I stopped the wuauserv service on that device?
ITSM’s Patch Management is using wuauserv service. If the service is stopped patching will fail.
