I have to say so far this release has been very stable. As far as I can tell all endpoints have upgraded the CCC agent. I have only had to manually restart 1 ITSM Service on a server the rest are all online and green.
I’d have to agree, but I presume that is primarily due to it fixing the previous release’s bugs.
@dittoit Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t you run ITSM in a local environment where you have physical access to all of your endpoints? Just asking because your Avatar is the badge for Enterprise Admins… So that would be a different scenario, and easier to fix. I have a trucking company that has laptops installed in the trucks. At any given time, these laptops could be 3000 miles away. Since June, It worked flawlessly…but since the middle of last month… not good at all.
Seriously? The end result is more work for them, and some of us may lose business. SMH
I just wish they would get it fixed so I can upgrade to the Platinum AEP…
This is by no means an excuse, but my guess is that its gotten worse because of load. Being a free RMM product, I bet there are alot of new MSP’s onboard and they are having trouble managing/keeping up with demand. Again just a guess.
Hello @eztech,
We appreciate your feedback and we will immediately pass all information coming from our back end team to resolve this case.
Thank you for your patience.
Nope. I use the online version. The avatar is the badge gained from passing the academy courses. Not enterprise related.
I have spent every day until today working with the team to get ServiceDesk working due to issues with the upgrade (Today should be a day of peace). I have seen the new “blue” communicating but not accessible on a few and Green or Grey on others.
Being honest we never reily on just one remote tool, our main system is Splashtop which we are a partner / reseller for. It is stable for about 90% of the time and we have Comodo as a backup, between them all works very well. Personally we use Splashtop as it allows us to sell a license to the end client to access their device from home if they want without having an additional application installed beside it like you would normally do with say Teamviewer or LogMeIn.
Basically no one solution will work 100% of the time, but basics like communication etc was not tested enough for this release and our preview group was ignored. Comodo have been working very hard to turn this around I can promise you, and the results have been good so far.
The courses are good to be fair, I’ve got one left today I believe.
A lot of this upgrade has not been documented (as normal), but if you ever get the dev’s on the phone a lot of what this upgrade was about is adding in extra load balancing, monitoring, email queuing platform etc due to the amount of MSP that are now using Comodo.
They have been proactive in putting in place a structure to help stop issues in the future; just caused a few speed bumps on the way which is better than 100% down while reacting later.
This is good to hear, its just a shame that it has to come from a forum member rather than from C1 themselves. Do you know if C1 support have thought about making regular posts regarding what they are up to, almost like a micro blog?
Second that.
I have previously suggested all changes are documented and publicly available and provided Alt-N’s release notes as good example MDaemon Server Release Notes
Ok just asking… I have done all of them and knew that the IT Admin Cert. was just a supplement for Enterprise Admins.
Hello @axatech,
We have added you on the escalated issue where devices showing offline in ITSM and have sent you a support ticket regarding that.
Thank you for your patience.
Thanks.
still no joy. Cant install comodo now as it say’s device offline and the css is still showing installed but it’s not.
I have 2 DC’s. different companies, both ONLINE in the ITSM portal both OFFLINE in the CRC, but both remotable if done via ITSM
