Yes, it started happening after the hotfix. Today it seems to be better, though still a little sluggish but usable
Hello @eztech, thank you for sharing your feedback and we’re glad that it is much better now. If in case the issue will affect your clients please do send us an email to c1-support@comodo.com for us to investigate the issue. We’ll also observe if the performance will going to affect the others.
As always, thank you for your support.
Is anyone still having problems pushing the updates to of the CCC and CCS? I had to reboot my machine twice before the CCC updated and then again for the CCS to install.
Yep… been having problems pushing updates for the past week or more… I think the only reason we’re not hearing more about it is due to most users giving up or holding off upgrading due to previous problems. Seems to have started around the time CCS went from 11.3 to 11.4.
I’ve managed to now upgrade about 70% of my endpoints by requesting clients leave their machines on overnight for major updates but it’s taken a week of extra work late into the evening caused yet again by a Comodo update.
Edit: I’ve also noticed the 5min warning to reboot isnt working the vast majority of the time but if I select ‘Warn about reboot and allow user to postpone’ then the warning does work. All seems rather messed up. Just wish I’d stayed with an earlier version. Would be real interested to see which verson of EM and CCS others have setlled on as default.
Personally… updating is set to manual and my defaults are set to
EM: 6.29.27694.19071
CCS:.11.4.0.7655
I wont be changing those unless there is a drastic change in reliability of updates.
Going upgrading to the latest updates are challenging I wonder if pushing through the deployment tool makes it easier?
I did consider this but just as easy to reboot the endpoints a couple of times so perservering. 82% updated so far… nearly there!
