Good feedback itb, noted…and sent to relevant guys…thanks.
Elsewhere on the forum @ilker has already mentioned setting up a status page, something I requested months ago.
Hi all,
I am a new user and still working comodo out, However unless i am doing something wrong it seems that each section (itsm, crm, service desk etc…) have their own customer databases. It would be great if they were all intergrated in to one database. It feels like i am using many different applications at the moment and having to duplicate all of the customer data.
Also i thought i had seen somewhere that a desktop app was due to be released this month which would be great for the times i have no internet. (which is quite often as i am in a rural location)
Hello @craigplant
We will forward your suggestions on implementing one database to house the customer info among the different modules in C1 to our developers as a feature request. We will update you about its progress through email.
For the ‘desktop app’, that has been released already last June. It is called the New Comodo Remote Control (CRC). Unfortunately, this desktop app requires internet access as it is designed for the MSP version.
The following link describes how to install it from the ITSM page: old info about New CRC
The update made to the New CRC this July improved its functionality: new info about New CRC
Found a bug, you cant use the ‘&’ symbol in the name when creating a procedure, it changes it to &
Hi @craigplant
Actually C1 Portal,ITSM,SD, CRM all share the same customer database. When you add a customer from C1 portal it is pushed to all other modules also. In addition to integrated customers you add unmanaged ones from SD and CRM portal that will give you flexibility to manage your other accounts (potential customers, old accounts etc.) that you want to be presented only on the given module.

Any update on when SNMP monitoring for network devices is being released? I am keen to use SNMP monitoring for our network devices, especially bandwidth. Would also be good if it could be twinned with a Visio drawing to show network path status between endpoints (like Solarwinds).
Hi @curatrix_pl
The original Q2 release was pushed back later this year on Q4 2017.
Hello @StrobeTech,
We greatly appreciate the additional inputs via the screenshots. This is a great idea that will benefit everyone, thank you.
Hi @StrobeTech ,
We appreciate the recommendation. We will have the team look into this as a feature request.
We will also send you an email for any update.
Hi Sir
we found a group showing issue,
that when user add sub group at default company,
and we are found the console show device list /device name/groups is default company not user created group name
can we show the exact name of group in the group name field…
Jasper
Hello @yu.jasper ,
We already created a support ticket for your concern to investigate the case via remote session.
For the meantime:
To Change Group/Company of a device :
- Go to Device management click the check box beside the device you want to move
- Click More (upper right hand corner) > Owner > Change Owner
- Type the Company name or the owner of the company.
- This will bring your devices to default group under the company you selected
- If you created other group under the selected company, lets say the name is Group X :
“Group X” > Group management > Add Devices to group > choose the device > Add selected devices > confirm

Hi again @ITS-SD ,
Good news is ability to use SNMP monitoring to monitor network devices already on our raodmap and would be implemented in 2017Q2. For Ping monitor, we also will add two additional fields where you will be able to put the number of pings sent out and a threshold of failed replies. In this way, you will be able to mimic Windows ping command (send out 4 ping requests and if at least 3 of them will fail THEN trigger an alert).
We will keep you posted about updates.
Best regards,
Ece

Why is this continuing to be pushed out when it is all over the Comodo RMM website that it is already up and working?
How odd, just read it IT Service Management | IT Management Platform From ITarian
I talked to a senior tech about this and they said that they are working with their website people to either take it down or make it so that it reflects that these are features that are coming. We discussed that SNMP is technically a feature that works with PC’s, MAC’s as long as they are already detected, but the way the website reads it is makes it sound like they are able to detect Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and other SNMP devices out of the box which they are not at this point. The tech I talked to said it is either Q3 or Q4 of this year according to his roadmap but unfortunately he was unable to share that roadmap with me.
because we have been working on stability and not features for the next 2 sprints, some dates will have shifted inevitably. this is why they may be unable to give exact dates…give us 2 sprints, lets get you guys one rock solid platform, then we can continue adding features.
I second this, this would a huge step for Comodo as there are so many other programs out there that already do this.
Also any new updates on the new features and when they are going to be released this quarter (per your roadmap)?
We do not have the matrix yet of this October’s release. Our product development team will post an announcement possibly a week’s time before the 21st.
We understand that you are needing a powerful tool for removing any unwanted application. We can forward this suggestion to our Product Developers and notify you for its outcome
