Doesn’t Comodo Cleaning Essentials do this?
Hello @nct,
Some functionalities are with the mentioned tool and some will be for improvement or added feature.
Hi Sir,
I have some user friend of UI suggest…
1.Could ITSM show Application Control file list has some classification (like Antivirus)? for example, Malware,Malicious,Unrecognized,Trust
2.Could ITSM containment tab add sorting field of Device Name, that will help admin quickly to find what file was contain on which device?
3.Could ITSM add feature of Device Containment schedule or admin reset ?
Jasper
Hello @yu.jasper,
Thank you for these suggestions.
We’d like to clarify some of the suggestions you have:
1.Could ITSM show Application Control file list has some classification (like Antivirus)? for example, Malware,Malicious,Unrecognized,Trust
>> It is already possible to Manage File Trust Ratings on Windows Devices. Every new executable is scanned against the Comodo white and blacklists then awarded a rating of ‘Unrecognized’, ‘Trusted’ or ‘Malicious’. You can refer to the help guide below:
2.Could ITSM containment tab add sorting field of Device Name, that will help admin quickly to find what file was contain on which device?
>> Are you requesting for a new field to be added to the ITSM containment tab. That new field being “Device Name” for the devices that have the contained file, correct?
- Could ITSM add feature of Device Containment schedule or admin reset ?
>> By Device Containment schedule do you want the ability to control when the device contains an application.file?
>> Could you please elaborate on admin reset?
Looking forward to your response.
I’ve made similar comments @yu.jasper , especially point 3 to reset containment. At present, this area of ITSM can be a little confusing.
Would like to see a remote command prompt. Sometimes, a full remote desktop session is unneeded, especially when you can perform tasks from the command prompt and not interrupt the end user.
Hello @sgaits,
Your suggestion for ‘Feature Request: CRC - More options and quick functions’ where you can launch various tasks, like starting the control panel, Command Prompt, Event viewer etc. currently shows on the road-map for implementation in 2019-Q1.
Thank you for your patience.
Hi, I have a few new feature requests listed below.
-
ITSM - Ability to see procedure queue for devices. This would be beneficial to be able to see the queue for a device that is offline before bringing the device back online.
-
Ability to see the feature road-map with expected release dates. It would need to be understood from our side that the dates are not firm as delays do happen. Included in this would be the ability to subscribe to a specific feature request to be able to receive status and ETA updates.
-
ITSM - Ability to execute a procedure on an entire organization group instead of just all devices or specific devices.
Thanks
@RayBTWIT, we thank you for these requests and have forwarded them to our developers to be reviewed.
We will also send you an email for any update. Thank you.
Hi @RayBTWIT
Regarding ,
- ITSM - Ability to execute a procedure on an entire organization group instead of just all devices or specific devices.
You can run script procedure over company devices. Refer attached screenshot. Please understand that still we have to check procedure log from an individual device like Device > Logs> Script logs.
Thanks

could we add export to csv of Antivirus threat history, because client should be delete quarantine file and we need use threat history to generate report.
How about expanding the current API offerings? IE
- creating an API for the main C1 portal, so that we can automate customer account creation based on other systems (streamline onboarding).
- possibly creating API links on the Zapier platform, to open up the existing offerings to over 900 other applications that we might want to feed info back and forth on concerning tickets? Making it far easier to link other systems to C1
Can we get a vote on how many would like/need to have a much more complex and powerfull email parser for the email fetching to work on creating tickets?
For example, instead of just dumping in the body of the email into the ticket, we could run a parser against that data, look for key word pairs, maybe throw a little regex on it, and have those items become variables that could be used to populate different ticket form fields (possibly even including custom feilds)?
There are a bunch of mentions of this type of parsing on the OsTicket forums and even some 3rd party plug-ins or add-ons that might be able to quickly be included into C1 Service Desk to expand functionality.
If my previous request was also implemented with Zapier integration on the service desk API, someone could also take advantage of their industry leading email parser to work better magic at automating ticket creation.
REALLY REALLY REALLY need a “REBOOT REQUIRED / UPDATES PENDING” icon in the ITSM devices list.
Right now it can show a green checkmark for devices that are waiting for a reboot but may well have critical updates still to be applied after the reboot, giving admins a dangerous sense of security. I think I may have already requested this, but even so, this should be moved up in priority as patching is obviously a major issue in the days of MS17-010, Meltdown/Spectre, etc… servers are really the target here because they are less likely to be rebooted on a regular basis, but obviously critical and obviously targets.
Thanks Comodo team, awesome work you guys are doing (and just bought a bunch of Premium licenses woohoo!)
Hello @indieserve
The feature/improvement to show an accurate patch status on the device list (OS and 3rd party) currently shows on the roadmap for implementation on Q2 2018. Just a little bit more of patience and we will soon see it on the ITSM Patch Management.
Apologies if this is addressed elsewhere, I did search but couldn’t find anything:
-
ITSM - Patch Management (also under device) : Would be very helpful to include “Installed Date” for OS patches. Currently you can only see these for 3rd party applications. Beneficial when troubleshooting offline devices.
-
ITSM - RMM : Again for offline review, being able to review performance monitors (CPU, Memory, Disk) would be very helpful in reviewing trends (rather than just reacting to alerts). Completely appreciate and value the work C1 so forgive the reference but Atera do have a nice way of handling this part.
I think there is similar requests, but you do describe very well with a great picture showing what you mean.
Please, let’s get this done!
Hi @novatwin
We thank you for your suggestions. Rest assured that your suggestions will be forwarded to our product development team for further analysis. We will also be sending you a couple of support tickets to serve as acknowledgment and reference if in case you want to follow-up on your requests.
Hi @StrobeTech
By the way, we will also loop you in to the same ticket for the ‘Offline review of performance monitors’ feature request. Thank you for your continued support of the C1 platform.
Hi @indieserve
Thank you for you appraisal. We strive to deliver the best MSP platform in the market to you. We have a special “customizing device inventory views” item in our roadmap for adding all necessary information like “pending reboot status”, “device enrollment date” “local IP”, “Public IP” on device list and giving you ability to show/hide columns, create custom views etc. We are planning to deliver all these in 2018 Q4. Until then, please stay tuned!
Best Regards
