Move to USA server

Based on the information provided to us by the developers, the average completion time of the migration process is 8 hours.

@Rick_C Thanks, but what I mean is from the time we put in our request, how long does it take to be migrated? I’ve been waiting a month for my migration so I was wondering how long it typically takes?

Once a final date had been agreed with the requests (given that you approved the limitations of the process) then the migration can start. There’s no specific span of the date of the completion. However, we have asked to have your account in priority. We have sent additional information on your support ticket that would provide additional details of what transpires during the process.

Thanks Jimmy, I had given authorization back in early July. I just thought it would be helpful if we all knew what to expect as a time frame for these migrations. Being in the US, there is always a huge compliance gray area when storing data and remote access capabilities outside of the US, so I’m just eager to be moved over :wink:

I would also like to be moved to the US server.

Also, is the US server running the same version of C1 with all of the current features?

What is taking so long?

Our development team is in the process of migrating accounts from earlier requests and they are peeling off these requests at a deliberate pace to ensure minimum downtime. You will receive a notification from us on when the migration will start.

I sent an e-mail to support about getting migrated to the USA servers and I would have expected even a canned response back but never got one. Can one of the Comodo staff put me on the list if I am not one it already due to my request via e-mail?

We apologize about the delay. The moment you send a request to c1-support@comodo.com, we will usually provide a response to your request accompanied by a documentation of what is to be accepted during the migration process and as well some private account details. We will communicate with you shortly via email to send the confirmation back to your forum registered email.

We requested the move in July.
confirmed in August but nothing since.

When can we expect this to happen?
